BESTIES Imaging Research Quality Group Promotional Video - Short Edit July 2026

The BESTIES (BEST practice for research ImagES) community group was established to explore the practical challenges associated with preparing and using imaging data for research within Trusted Research Environments (TREs) and across collaborative settings. The group focused on key areas identified in the original proposal, including image quality, metadata, de-identification, and the usability of imaging pipelines.

The programme was designed around a structured, co-development approach, progressing from stakeholder engagement and scoping, through facilitated workshops, to literature review and synthesis of findings into practical outputs. This approach enabled the group to identify real-world barriers, explore potential solutions, and develop evidence-informed best practice recommendations.
