NPCI ICON-LEO Recoverability Study - Reproducibility Package (v3.0)
Description
Reproducibility package for the manuscript "Recoverability of Ionospheric Plasma Parameters from a Compact Retarding-Potential Collector in ICON-Class Low-Earth Orbit: A Reproducible Forward-Model and Observability Analysis with Bounded AI-Assisted Inversion" (Version 3.0, July 2026).
The package reproduces every quantitative result, figure, and table in the manuscript. All computations are seeded (SEED = 20260711) and deterministic, with a pinned software environment (Python 3.12; numpy 2.4.4, scipy 1.17.1, matplotlib 3.10.8; see requirements.txt).
Contents: forward instrument-response model (forward_model.py); Fisher information, conditioning, and Cramer-Rao observability analysis (observability.py); Latin-hypercube Monte Carlo recovery study with Levenberg-Marquardt inversion (recovery.py); figure and equation generators; archived recovery results (recovery_results.json); 26 publication figures at 300 dpi.
