SOURCE ZERO: A Methodology for the Construction of Machine-Verifiable Digital Identity
Description
The contemporary web is not short of information; it is short of addresses. Commercial and scientific entities publish at industrial volume while remaining structurally illegible to the machines that now mediate nearly all discovery: crawlers, knowledge graphs, and large-language-model answer engines. This document specifies a complete, verifiable methodology - Source Zero - for constructing machine-verifiable digital identity. It defines: (1) a diagnostic model of machine reading (crawl, render, index, extraction, reconciliation, retrieval fan-out); (2) an evidentiary-chain architecture binding state registers, scientific identifiers (ORCID, DOI), open knowledge graphs (Wikidata), and on-site JSON-LD into a closed loop of computable trust; (3) a verification standard for Your-Money-Your-Life environments (the SEAL Protocol); (4) a measurement loop connecting semantic identity to attributable commercial outcomes; and (5) the explicit limits of the method. Case observations from deployed implementations in the Polish optical and medical-education sectors are reported with declared conflicts of interest and without financial figures. The methodology claims no invention of the underlying open standards; it claims their complete, honest, closed-loop application - which is precisely the discipline the market omits.
