Description

This dataset contains a processed DNA methylation resource derived from GEO Series GSE280465 through a Bioconductor ExperimentHub data package.

The resource is stored as a RangedSummarizedExperiment object generated from a minfi GenomicRatioSet. It contains methylation beta values, M values, copy number estimates, hg38 genomic ranges, sample-level phenotype metadata, and provenance metadata.

The resource represents the adult GSE280465 EPICv2 dataset: 163 samples from 47 individuals across buccal, saliva, dried blood spot, and peripheral blood mononuclear cell tissues. The data were profiled using GPL33022, Illumina Infinium MethylationEPIC version 2.

The source study is "Cross-Tissue Comparison of Epigenetic Aging Clocks in Humans", Aging Cell, 2025, DOI: 10.1111/acel.14451. The original public data are available from GEO accession GSE280465.
