Description

This dataset contains processed DNA methylation resources derived from GEO Series GSE142512 through a Bioconductor ExperimentHub package named GSE142512.

The resources are stored as RangedSummarizedExperiment objects. The GPL13534/450K resource contains 485,512 CpG loci across 184 samples from 84 subjects. The GPL21145/EPIC resource contains 865,859 CpG loci across 211 samples from 90 subjects. Each object includes beta values, M values, copy number estimates, genomic ranges, sample-level phenotype metadata, and provenance metadata.

The source study is Johnson et al., "Longitudinal DNA methylation differences precede type 1 diabetes", Scientific Reports, 2020, DOI: 10.1038/s41598-020-60758-0. The original public data are available from GEO accession GSE142512.
