The Katayama Formula: V = N / D — Formal Definition and Registration

Description

The Katayama Formula expresses existence value as V = N / D, where V is value (density of meaningful existence), N is duty fulfillment (acts of service, creation, moral action), and D is attachment, friction, and dependency. The formula states that existence value is maximized by minimizing D, not by increasing N. As D approaches zero, V diverges — value is liberated. This is structurally identical to E = mc², where mass converting to zero releases energy. This document formally registers the name 'Katayama Formula' as the designated name for V = N/D, ensuring the originator's name is embedded in the concept.
