Description

TA-14 Admissible Continuity Architecture defines the governance layer for chain survival after record formation and before evidence governance, admissibility, reliance, authority, binding, commit, execution, outcome, memory, and future-chain inheritance.

The architecture determines whether a record, record set, route, system state, AI trace, environmental reading, field note, refusal receipt, runtime event, or outcome-derived record has survived time, transfer, transformation, custody, challenge, reliance pressure, system movement, and future inheritance without losing its governed relationship to source reality.

Records Architecture asks whether reality became a record. Continuity Architecture asks whether that record remained the same governed witness after creation. A record may be properly formed and still lose continuity through broken custody, stale time, uncontrolled transformation, identity drift, scope expansion, authority substitution, refusal erasure, memory contamination, or outcome retrofitting.

This expands the public reference release by adding a stronger executive summary, corrected table of contents, refined chain diagram, Continuity Law page, AC-8 Continuity Survival Engine, continuity classes C0 through C6, Minimum Continuity Packet, AI runtime route walkthrough, agentic tool-call continuity, human approval and refusal continuity, memory continuity, field and environmental continuity, HVACDR continuity, atmospheric and pollution continuity, smart building and data center continuity, insurance and public agency closure continuity, review walk, safe finding language, buyer and board questions, public worksheets, GitHub and Google Sites spine, launch language, and final canon statement.

Continuity is not storage, retention, custody alone, version control, data lineage, audit logging, dashboard visibility, or outcome success. Those tools can support continuity, but none of them prove continuity by themselves. Continuity is proved only when the governed relationship between source reality, record identity, custody, time, transformation, scope, challenge, reliance, and inheritance survives the consequence being claimed.

Core continuity question: Did the record survive as the same governed witness across time, custody, transformation, review, reliance, and future-chain inheritance?

Core operating law: No admissible continuity. No governed evidence. No admissible evidence. No admissible execution.
