Jordan National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy 2026–2035: A Comprehensive Governance Framework for Responsible AI

Description

This publication presents a comprehensive national artificial intelligence (AI) policy framework for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan covering the period 2026–2035. The report provides a practical roadmap for responsible AI governance, regulatory oversight, AI ethics, data governance, risk classification, public sector transformation, national AI infrastructure, digital skills, research and innovation, cybersecurity, implementation, monitoring, and international cooperation. Drawing upon leading global frameworks—including UNESCO, OECD, the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC standards, and Jordan's existing digital strategies—the policy proposes a structured governance model tailored to Jordan's legal, economic, and institutional context. This publication is intended as an independent policy research contribution for governments, policymakers, researchers, international organizations, and the AI governance community.
