Workbook as a component of educational-methodical complex study of "Genetics the basics of selection" future teachers of biology

The article is dedicated to use a workbook as a didactic means of activation of informative activity of students of pedagogical universities in the process of studying of professionally oriented disciplines. The expediency of inclusion of worksheets in the teaching-methodical complexes of special academic disciplines for bachelors in the direction 6.040102 Biology*.

In the article the possibility of using a workbook for laboratory classes in «Genetics the basics of selection» with the aim of enhancing the subject competence of future teachers of biology, respectively, state standards of higher pedagogical education. Draws attention to the fact that the use of workbooks as a means of teaching it in laboratory classes, is the most effective because the classroom teacher forms abilities and skills of practical application of individual theoretical knowledge through specially designed tasks and exercises, direct execution of them on the printed page helps to increase the amount of mental and practical actions of students. It is shown that the developed workbook as workbook mixed type, performs educational, informational-communicative and reflexive evaluation function conducts independent work of students in the process of learning genetics and breeding as in the classroom, and not in classroom time, contributes to the individualization of education. Described aspects and methodical development of laboratory classes and disclosed their content.
