Description
This deliverable D2.4 meets the project's objectives by constituting the final version of the domain review and accessed datasets report, following the preliminary document deliverable D2.3. The D2.4 presents the literature review performed to delineate the State-of-the-Art to date in predicting Parkinson’s disease (PD) risk, PD progression and response to medication. It thus includes all relevant articles covering the past 12 years of research dedicated to PD (1/1/2013-1/2/2025). The main focus of this updated report was to review advances in the state of the art that occurred between 1/1/2024 and 1/2/2025. It also summarizes the relevant digital technologies that are currently available both in Europe and America to monitor movement and balance in PD patients. Based on the literature review findings and the available digital technologies, we have requested access to various datasets and biobanks containing health, digital, lifestyle and genetic information. A detailed final list is outlined in the current document. Additionally, harmonisation and curation techniques to be employed on these datasets are presented.
