Description
This dataset contains the genome sequence for Leishmania tropica (CDC216-162). This genome sequence was de novo assembled using PacBio RSII and Illumina MiSeq sequencing methodologies by Unoarumhi et al (2021. PMID: 34016685). The genome was assembled into 43 contigs, of which 36 were categorized as chromosomes. The Fasta file included in this dataset was downloaded from GenBank (assembly GCA_014139745.1; June 17, 2026).
