Bangladesh National AI Transparency & Explainability Policy Framework

Bional AI Transparency & Explainability Policy Framework is a comprehensive national policy framework developed to establish governance standards for transparency, explainability, accountability, and responsible deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems in Bangladesh. The framework proposes a risk-based regulatory architecture, institutional governance mechanisms, citizen rights, sector-specific standards, compliance requirements, transparency audits, AI impact assessments, public AI registries, and implementation pathways aligned with Bangladesh's Smart Bangladesh Vision 2041.
Developed by the Atlas AI Institute, the framework aligns with internationally recognized AI governance standards, including the OECD AI Principles, UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF 1.0), EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 22989, and ISO/IEC TR 24028, while adapting these principles to Bangladesh's constitutional, institutional, and socioeconomic context.
