AUCR DPI–Inclusion Conversion Index for India (v0.1)
Authors/Creators
Description
The AUCR DPI–Inclusion Conversion Index measures how far Indian states convert financial access into use, capability and resilience — operationalising the Access → Use → Capability → Resilience (AUCR) framework, grounded in the capability approach. Built entirely from open official sources (RBI Handbook of Statistics on Indian States, PMJDY, UIDAI Aadhaar saturation, TRAI telecom indicators, DBT Mission rankings, MoSPI HCES, and NFHS-5 multidimensional poverty), it scores 36 states/UTs (34 in the analytical sample) across four pillars and a composite index computed under three weighting schemes (equal, entropy, PCA), robust across schemes (Spearman 0.89–0.94). It introduces an Access−Capability conversion gap diagnostic and a four-cluster state typology. This deposit contains the value-added compilation, full codebook with provenance, and the complete reproducible Python pipeline. Raw source files are not redistributed; retrieval URLs are provided.
