Описаны регистрации 21 вида птиц, в т.ч. занесенных в Красные книги Тюменской, Курганской областей и/или Российской Федерации (19 видов), а также приведены новые сведения по их обилию, распространению и гнездованию. Особого внимания заслуживают залет в Тюменскую область 4 пар мандаринок и первая находка здесь гнездовой колонии чеграв. В очередной раз на территории области осуществлен тотальный учет численности кудрявых пеликанов во всех известных колониях, по результатам которого она составила 617 гнездящихся пар.
Abstract (English)
We conducted bird observations in several administrative districts in the south of the Tyumen region and in the Mokrousovo district of the Kurgan region in May 17–29. We recorded 21 rare bird species, including those listed in the federal and regional Red Data Books. What is most significant is that in the Tyumen region we found the first breeding colony of Caspian Tern Hydroprogne caspia and heard about 4 vagrant pairs of Mandarin Duck Aix galericulata. We conducted another comprehensive census of Dalmatian Pelicans Pelecanus crispus in all known colonies in the Tyumen region and found a total of 617 breeding pairs which was a significant (19% over the past 3 years) reduction in the numbers of the species. Great Cormorant Phalacrocorax carbo demonstrated an even more dramatic decline in the numbers in the region which diminished by, probably, more than 90% over the past 20–30 years.
