This webinar showcases three projects from the 2nd cohort of the DataCite Global Access Fund (GAF), highlighting efforts to strengthen open research infrastructure across diverse contexts. Project leaders from Jordan, Malawi, and Vietnam will share their experiences, including the key challenges they faced, the insights gained during implementation, and the achievements and outcomes of their work. They will also reflect on future directions and the sustainability of their initiatives. The session will include a brief introduction to DataCite and its ongoing efforts to promote global equity in research infrastructure. This includes the rollout of the new membership model and updated fee structure, designed to create more inclusive opportunities for organizations worldwide to access and benefit from DataCite services.
