Description

This monograph presents the first formal documentary edition of Scott Rasmussen's handwritten metrological ledgers on the Sumerian Unit Measures (S.U.M.) system. The work is primarily archival and documentary in nature, preserving Rasmussen's original notes while providing numerical verification and editorial annotations where appropriate.

Rasmussen's investigations sought to translate conventional metric quantities into S.U.M. units and examine the numerical relationships that emerge. Among the recurring patterns documented in the ledgers is the appearance of the harmonic magnitude

$$8.61296,$$

which arises independently in several transformed physical quantities, including

$$1\times10^{-7} c^2 e^2 = 8.61296\times10^{-22},$$

$$\alpha c = 8.61296\times10^7,$$

and

$$\frac{e^2}{\alpha^2}=\frac{1}{8.61296\times10^{29}(\mathrm{A}\cdot\mathrm{S})^2}.$$

The ledgers further document a sequence of combinatorial matrices that systematically redistribute the geometric operators

$$\frac{2\pi}{2\pi}, \qquad
\frac{4\pi}{4\pi}, \qquad
\frac{16\pi^2}{16\pi^2},$$

revealing multiple equivalent forms of a common underlying metrological structure.

Additional investigations preserved in this monograph include the S.U.M. Mass Correction Factor,

$$C_f = 1.002518561,$$

derived from the volumetric conversion of reduced Planck's constant,

$$\hbar \times 94{,}586.99257=\frac{1}{1.002518562},$$

together with its reconciliation to terrestrial gravitational parameters and Standard Mean Ocean Water (S.M.O.W.) density relationships.

Rasmussen also recorded several precise numerical correspondences, including the near equivalence

$$4\pi a_0=2.618046044\times10^{-8}\ {\rm IN}$$

and

$$\phi^2\times10^{-8}=2.618033989\times10^{-8}\ {\rm IN},$$

which differ by only approximately $4.605$ parts per million.

The monograph additionally preserves Rasmussen's observations concerning scale-invariant mass-to-charge relationships, electron-neutron numerical correspondences, and the appearance of Hartree-energy and Golden-Ratio structures within transformed metrological expressions.

For archival transparency and independent verification, the accompanying Zenodo archive contains a `note-bundles/` directory consisting of images of Scott Rasmussen's original handwritten ledgers. These images constitute the primary source material from which the transcriptions, dimensional audits, and editorial annotations of this monograph were prepared.

This publication serves both as a permanent historical record of Scott Rasmussen's metrological investigations and as a reference source for future studies of the Sumerian Unit Measures system and its numerical structures.
