Description

This reference explains the documentation and arithmetic involved in evaluating and handling research peptides. It covers how to read a Certificate of Analysis (purity by HPLC, identity by mass spectrometry, sterility, endotoxin, heavy metals, and batch traceability), the arithmetic that relates powder mass, solvent volume, and concentration during reconstitution, general principles for storing lyophilized and reconstituted material, and a glossary of common terms. It is educational and methodological. Research peptides are research compounds, not approved medicines, and this document is not guidance for use.
