This research note explores the hypothesis that gravity originates from spatial gradients of cohesion within the Silentium / Æther D framework.
A dimensionless local cohesion field, C(r), is introduced as a candidate descriptor of the transition between the transmissive regime of Æther D and the cohesive regime E. Within this interpretation, gravity is proposed as the dynamical response of the continuum to variations in local cohesion.
The note further introduces the concept of a critical gradient associated with the transmission–cohesion transition and examines its possible relation to compact objects, incompressibility, and the emergence of gravitational phenomena.
No derivation of Newtonian gravity or General Relativity is claimed. The purpose of this work is to isolate a potentially formalisable idea, define its mathematical challenges, and provide a clear framework for future investigation.
