Description

Air pollution is the contamination of the atmosphere by physical, chemical or biological agents in amounts that alter its natural composition and pose risks to human health, living organisms, materials and the environment.

These pollutants can originate from natural sources, such as volcanic eruptions or wildfires, or from human activities, including industrial processes, transportation and agriculture.
