Abstract
In today's globalized economy, businesses expanding internationally face significant challenges in pricing and product adaptation due to cultural differences. This research paper explores Cross-Cultural Pricing and Product Adaptation, examining how global brands tailor their pricing strategies and product modifications to different markets. The study investigates the key cultural determinants affecting consumer price sensitivity, brand image, and product choice through an analysis of multinational companies such as McDonald's, Apple, and Toyota. A mixed-methods approach combining primary research (a survey of 31 respondents from the 18-24 age group) and secondary research (industry reports, academic journals, and theoretical frameworks) was employed. Results indicate that cultural factors and purchasing power significantly influence pricing strategies. Product localization, including modifications in flavors, packaging, and features, is a key driver of consumer acceptance in international markets. The findings suggest that companies should adopt localized yet scalable strategies to maximize market growth and profitability across diverse cultural terrains.
