Description

Generative Filmmaking & Production — Volume IV: Gemini is a technical and creative white paper documenting the production of Gemini, a 50-second fully generative music video created entirely with Adobe Firefly. The paper covers narrative architecture, prompt engineering methodology, age specification systems, failure analysis, and the complete confirmed prompt library across 47 unique scenes and approximately 150 generations.

Gemini is an interspecies story about aging, companionship, and quiet dependence — two beings, two lifespans, growing older together. This volume documents the translation of that emotional vision into a repeatable generative production methodology, including locked prompt rules, continuity maintenance protocols, and the iterative workflow that produced a photorealistic aging arc from newborn puppy to 20-year-old senior entirely within a consumer tool.

This paper is part of the ongoing Generative Filmmaking & Production white paper series archived in the Zenodo Generative Filmmaking community. Previous volumes cover the Still-First Pipeline (Vol. I), narrative architecture and safety filter intelligence (Vol. II), and persistent generative personas and legacy data systems (Vol. III).

Keywords: generative filmmaking, Adobe Firefly, prompt engineering, AI video production, emotional storytelling, generative imagery, music video production, Production 2.0
