Description
This course is organised annually for starting data stewards in the health domain. The course introduces participants to the basics of research data management and FAIR data stewardship in the health domain. Topics on the agenda among others: the different tasks areas of data stewards, the perspective of research funder ZonMW on FAIR, demonstrator projects, tools, technologies and standards that ease the process of creating FAIR research data, research software consultancy in the UMC’s etc. In hands-on sessions, participants draft and review a DMP, map DCAT AP metadata, advise researchers on archiving and publishing data and learn how to deal with qualitative data. They define their own learning goals and draft a plan to increase awareness on FAIR in their institutions.
