Holographic Smartwatch: A Wrist-Worn Prototype Integrating Pepper's Ghost Illusion, OLED Display, and MPU-6050 Gesture Control

This paper presents the design and architecture of a wrist-worn holographic smartwatch prototype that leverages the Pepper's Ghost optical illusion to generate a 3D holographic display from a 1.3-inch OLED screen. The system integrates an Arduino microcontroller, MPU-6050 IMU for gesture control, and a sandwich-layered enclosure. The work demonstrates feasibility of pseudo-holographic display technology in a wearable form factor using low-cost components.
