Minimal Relational Evolution (MRE)

Authors/Creators

Description

This paper proposes Minimal Relational Evolution (MRE) as the fundamental rule governing state transitions. Evolution proceeds through the smallest admissible relational update consistent with the active constraints of the system:

S(n+1)=S(n)+min⁡{ΔR    constraints preserved} S^{(n+1)} = S^{(n)} + \min \left\{ \Delta R \;\middle|\; \text{constraints preserved} \right\} S(n+1)=S(n)+min{ΔRconstraints preserved}

MRE begins with state and state transition rather than geometry, fields, force, probability, or time, providing a minimal selection rule for the next resolved state.
