Reconstructive Threshold Philosophy: Pre-Action Capture, Living Constraint, and Founder Entropy

Reconstructive Threshold Philosophy (RTF) examines how an action path can become difficult to alter before a person, institution, public, or machine-mediated system experiences a decision as complete. Its central diagnostic, **pre-action capture**, names the loss or material weakening of usable alterability before binding. Capture does not require a deliberate captor. It may arise through habit, authority, workload, interface design, technical coupling, economic pressure, or their conjunction. The framework therefore looks beyond isolated intention to the path through which interpretation, permission, handoff, and execution become consequential, while retaining persons, institutions, and affected parties as bearers of responsibility and standing.

The architecture has three pillars and one hinge. **Pre-action capture** diagnoses closure before choice. **Living constraint** names arrangements that allow judgment to inspect, refuse, revise, interrupt, release, and repair without making delay sovereign. **Founder entropy** is present only where three jointly necessary conditions hold: inherited permission remains operative after its justificatory conditions have materially changed, reopening has become materially reduced, and a traceable pathway shows that the originating act, mission, institution, safeguard, or name authorises present motion in place of renewed judgment. **Assistance without occupation** distinguishes help that returns judgment from help that substitutes for it.
