Description

ARCEME-DHP is database of dry events interrupted by heavy precipitation, based on extreme events detection in ERA5-Land [1] time series of daily precipitation and evaporative balance [2] from 2015 to 2023.

Database

The database consists of

  •  a zarr Event Cube storing the individual indicators of drought and heavy precipitation from 1991 to 2023 : `dhp_era5land_eventcube_qdoy0.05_ref1991_2020.zarr`
  • two zarr Label Cubes, with the labelled connected events from 2015 to 2023, obtained from a connected component analysis:
    • `labelcube_dhp_era5land_qdoy0.05_ref1991_2020.zarr` for DHP compound events
    • `labelcube_d_era5land_qdoy0.05_ref1991_2020.zarr` for D single hazard events
  • a csv summary table with statistics describing the labelled events: `dhpEventStats_2015_2023_qdoy0.05_ref1991_2020.csv`.

Changes in version 2.1

  • Added missing D Label Cube
  • Improved ReadMe
