Seminaire de Geometrie Algebrique (SGA): English Translation Working Drafts

Public SGA working-translation record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Mathematics Manuscripts project. This record keeps reader-facing PDFs, source-scan witnesses, source ZIPs, and repair packets for SGA translation/reconstruction work.

Status at a glance. This is a substantial working-draft and repair record, not a globally certified complete edition. SGA5 French is now carried through repair017. Repair017 fixes two concrete SGA5 diagram defects found by visual source/render comparison, adds a machine-readable index of the current SGA5 TikZ diagrams, and keeps SGA5 English only as an unsynchronized carry-forward branch. SGA6 French is structurally assembled and under active source-level repair; repair017 includes the repair004 expansion of Expose VI source pages 391-397 / sections 2.4-2.8 from source-facing French transcription. SGA6 English remains unsynchronized. SGA7-I remains working draft material with explicit compression/source-checking caveats unless a specific packet declares a source-checked range.

Latest update. Adds sga5_sga6_repair017_20260611.zip. For SGA5 it repairs diagram (3.3.0) on source p92 and two type-1 commutative squares on source p107, and adds a 179-row SGA5 diagram index for the next diagram-level certification pass. For SGA6 it restores the Expose VI projective-bundle K' section around source pages 391-397, including formula (2.5.2), derived morphism (2.5.3), the full Proposition 2.6 proof, the construction in 2.7, and the source proof in 2.8. The remaining SGA6 worklist reports 224 rows after page filtering, with source pp.398-460 and pp.571-680 as the next priority regions.

Filename warning. Older filenames containing words such as Complete, Strict, or Source-Checked are legacy package names and are not current global certification claims. Source-witness and aid ZIPs are locator/check layers, not textual authority by themselves.
