This article examines the development of cultural life in the ancient regions of Termez and Chaghaniyan during the Timurid era, focusing on the main features of science, architecture, craftsmanship, and spiritual life based on historical sources and scholarly literature. The study highlights the political and economic significance of Termez and Chaghaniyan, which were among the major cultural centers of the Surkhan oasis during the reign of Amir Temur and the Timurids. It also explores the processes of urban development and the growth of the religious and educational environment in these regions. Furthermore, the article analyzes the contributions of scholars, Sufi thinkers, and craftsmen who were active in these areas to the cultural advancement of the region. The study reveals the integration of Timurid cultural achievements with local traditions and demonstrates their influence on the development of subsequent historical periods.
