Alexandre Grothendieck and collaborators — SGA 1–7: compact English readers, French editions, Spanish SGA 2/5 checkpoints, TeX, and provenance

Start with 00_SGA_1-7II_English_Global_Reader.pdf. It is the complete linked English reader for SGA 1 through SGA 7 II. Nine standalone English readers and their clickable master TeX files remain direct.

Compact reader-facing shelf. This version reduces the direct surface from 100 files to 33 without deleting predecessor content. Twenty-three predecessor files remain direct byte-for-byte. Every one of the 77 retired direct files is preserved byte-for-byte inside 90_PREDECESSOR_21829603_RETIRED_DIRECT_SURFACES.zip, with an internal manifest; the immutable predecessor version also remains available.

French update. fr.zip now carries the privacy-clean C545/reference-v2-r5 French handoff. The separate SGA 1 corrected reader is through SGA1-CORR-0545, while the diplomatic witness remains immutable. The local reference-v2 repair has zero page-1 fallback destinations. Other French-volume completion and review boundaries are described inside the archive.

Spanish SGA 2 R06 progress checkpoint. The direct current reader and master TeX cover seven units: front matter, the Introduction, and Exposés I–IV. The current reader is 52 A4 pages; the orig branch is retained inside the source/evidence ZIP. Exposé V is the next cursor. This is not a completed SGA 2 translation, full linguistic or visual certification, native/community validation, source-independent mathematical proof, or Controlled-Romance promotion. Eight mathematical readings remain open and no shared canonical correction IDs were minted.

The Spanish SGA 5 reader, master TeX, and source/evidence ZIP remain direct. Editions are separate rather than interleaved. French remains the source authority for source-aligned translation checkpoints.

This is an auditable working mathematical corpus, not peer review or a claim that no error remains. No package-level or blanket license is asserted over third-party source texts; rights in underlying materials remain with their respective rightsholders.
