Authors/Creators

Description

CyberQuest Summer Camp 2026 is a completely open-access curriculum for a five-day high school cybersecurity camp. This version corrects figure caption mismatches across all five companion decks, re-renders all 45 technical diagrams with a CSS fix that eliminates blank figures, removes stray keyword labels from section dividers, and corrects the cover page version number.

The curriculum includes a 124-page compiled PDF textbook, interactive HTML slide decks for all five days (291 companion slides plus a 100-slide main course deck), Python coding notebooks, and integrations with free tools: CodeCombat, OverTheWire Bandit, Google Interland, Security.org password tester, dcode.fr, CyberChef, CTFLearn, Lakera Gandalf, picoCTF, and the OSINT Framework.

Topics covered: networking fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP, packet analysis, subnetting), threat modeling (CIA triad, DAD triad, Parkerian Hexad, risk quantification, ALE), cryptography (classical ciphers, frequency analysis, RSA, AES, TLS handshake, digital signatures), web security (OWASP Top 10, XSS, SQL injection, session management), ethical hacking (reconnaissance, responsible disclosure, bug bounties), AI security (prompt injection, LLM attacks, model inversion), and Capture the Flag competitions (binary exploitation, forensics, OSINT methodology).

Aligned with CompTIA Security+, CEH, and NIST frameworks. Designed for students with no prior cybersecurity background. All interactive slides are available at https://camp.com.puter.tips. Source code and HTML slides are at https://github.com/devharsh/cyberquest-camp.

Notes

This curriculum is designed for instructors running a five-day cybersecurity camp for high school students with no prior background.
