Description
The dataset includes input data used for the case study presented in the article "Dispatch optimization and sizing of molten-salt power-to-heat systems in balancing electricity markets for industrial heat electrification".
The data comprise hourly time-series data such as: heat load of the industrial process, electricity market prices (day-ahead market, ancillary services market) and grid emission factors.
These data are used in the techno-economic modeling and dispatch optimization of the proposed P2H+TES system.
These inputs were used to evaluate system performance and economic feasibility under different scenarios in the Czech Republic (CZ) and Germany (DE).
