Dispatch optimization and sizing of molten-salt power-to-heat systems in balancing electricity markets for industrial heat electrification

Description

The dataset includes input data used for the case study presented in the article "Dispatch optimization and sizing of molten-salt power-to-heat systems in balancing electricity markets for industrial heat electrification". The data comprise hourly time-series data such as: heat load of the industrial process, electricity market prices (day-ahead market, ancillary services market) and grid emission factors. These data are used in the techno-economic modeling and dispatch optimization of the proposed P2H+TES system. These inputs were used to evaluate system performance and economic feasibility under different scenarios in the Czech Republic (CZ) and Germany (DE).
