Emmy Noether: Modern LaTeX Drafts and English Translation Working Drafts

Emmy Noether numbered-paper corpus record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Mathematics Manuscripts project. The German/English branch remains the complete numbered 43-paper working corpus; Spanish/Japanese multilingual branches are complete through Paper 43 and are under recursive scan audit. French and Simplified Chinese are checkpoint streams.

Current complete branch. The German source transcription and English translation of the numbered 43-paper corpus remain the canonical complete branch in this record. Spanish and Japanese cumulative reader surfaces are complete through Paper 43 but remain working translations requiring source checks for citation-critical use.

French/Simplified Chinese update, 2026-06-10. This version replaces the older FR/ZH Paper 16-17 combined packet with N_FRZH_Papers16_19s02_combined_20260610.zip. The FR/ZH checkpoint stream now runs through Paper 19 section 2. The packet includes Paper 17 completion and Paper 19 title/front matter, introduction, section 1, and section 2.

Correction ledgers from scan-first work. The FR/ZH scan pass logged corrections for propagation to other language/control branches: Paper 17 finite residue-group example uses scan-visible basis xi_1^2, xi_2^2, not the older English-control xi_2^3; Paper 19 footnote 10 restores the source-visible Hentzelt sentence absent from older control bodies.

Quality caveat. These are working editions/translations, not final critical editions. Source scans and explicit scan-first ledgers remain authority for important equations, footnotes, and unusual notation.
