Minkowski, Hecke, Landau, Sylvester, and Other Classical Mathematics Authors: Modern LaTeX Drafts

Linked author-cluster record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Public-Domain Mathematics Manuscripts project. This record presents reader-facing modern LaTeX drafts and source/provenance packets for selected works by Minkowski, Hecke, Landau, Steinitz, Hensel, Oka, Hausdorff, Grassmann, Killing, Sylvester, and additional classical authors.

This 2026-06-08 update adds a compact Edge-intake additions packet for late/missing Bianchi, Frobenius, Gordan, Kneser, Kron/Kronecker, Picard, Poincare, and related author-cluster work packets. These are intake/update artifacts for ongoing reconstruction and translation, not claims of final proofread critical editions.

Coverage at this release:

Public organization is by author and work. Source scans and provenance material are preserved in ZIP artifacts so the top-level PDF list stays focused on reader-facing compiled drafts.

2026-06-09 sweep refresh. Added curated author packets from the local Edge/Codex sweep: Bianchi Vol. I Italian/English cumulative through source pages 001-440 of 543; Frobenius item 059 German/English critical packet; Gordan Formensystem complete staged range; Clebsch-Gordan Abelian-functions opening tranches; Poincare Volume I tranche 02; Kneser Variationsrechnung p0111-p0122 with figure-source corrections; and a stricter Steinitz canonical redo for the 1894 dissertation and 1897 configuration traversal paper. These additions should be read as working drafts/source-checked tranches according to their own package audits, not as blanket certification of every older cluster file.

2026-06-09 Abel03 follow-up. Added Gordan_Abel03_p039_055_DE_EN_20260609.zip, extending Clebsch-Gordan, Theorie der Abelschen Functionen, through source pages 039-055 / printed pp. 17-33. The package notes a real Google witness anomaly: source page 052 duplicated printed page 28, so printed page 30 was restored from the Toronto witness. OCR is included only as prose-block scaffolding; formula readings are taken from scan witnesses.

2026-06-09 Bianchi/Poincare follow-up. Added Bianchi_A1_real_p0001_0472_IT_EN_20260609.zip and poincare_v1_03.zip. The Bianchi package is a Luigi Bianchi Lezioni di geometria differenziale Vol. I Italian/English cumulative through source pdfpage 472 of 543 (86.92%), with current slice p0441-p0472; its package audit reports zero build diagnostics, no scan-visible diagrams or tables in the latest slice, 176 display formulas per branch, 13 source footnotes per branch, all displayed math editable TeX, and next continuation p0473. The Poincare package is Tome I tranche 03, French/English, covering sections III-V through source scan pages 30-45, with no declared gaps, no diagrams/figures/tables/plates in the current tranche, all displayed math editable TeX, and next continuation at the bibliography on source scan p46. These are working packages/source-checked according to their own package audits, not a blanket certification of every older cluster file.

2026-06-09 routed Edge/local sweep consolidation. Added twelve package-level audited ZIPs that were routed from the local Edge/Codex sweep and were not yet in the public catalog: Frobenius items 058, 057/e-rara 18872, 056/e-rara 18879, and e-rara 18882 continuation/completion p025-p045; Gordan De linea geodetica FIX02 complete and the opening/continuation packets for the 1863 theta transformation work; Kneser Lehrbuch der Variationsrechnung p0096-p0111 figure-source correction package; Mikami 1913 p001-p059 EN/JA real-diagram repair; and Kronecker/Kron early restart slices.

Quality label for this consolidation: these are package-audited working/source-checked tranches according to their own internal audit files. They are not a blanket certification of every older file in this mixed author-cluster record. Specific declared limits remain in the packages themselves: for example, Kneser p0096-p0111 is a figure-source correction and does not continue past p0111; Mikami p001-p059 is a diagram/visual repair rather than a prose continuation; the Kronecker restart has one unresolved cursive manuscript mark on book p001; and Frobenius/Gordan tranches remain single-pass scholarly transcriptions/translations subject to future collation.

2026-06-09 follow-up 2. Added three fresh routed Edge/local packages: Frob060_crit_GE_EN_20260609.zip, a complete German/English critical package for Frobenius item 060, Über die Charaktere der symmetrischen Gruppe, with 159 displayed math blocks per branch and no declared textual gaps; Gordan_Abel04_p056_071_DE_EN_20260609.zip, extending Clebsch-Gordan, Theorie der Abelschen Functionen, through source pages 056-071 / printed pp. 34-49, with scan-first witnesses and OCR retained only as non-authoritative prose scaffold; and Kneser_LVR_p0122_0138_DE_EN_20260609.zip, extending Kneser, Lehrbuch der Variationsrechnung, through source PDF p0138 / printed p116 / §31, with no figures or tables in the slice and next continuation at p0139 / §32. Added two fresh post-sweep packages: Bianchi_A1_real_p0001_0543_IT_EN_20260609.zip, completing Luigi Bianchi, Lezioni di geometria differenziale Vol. I as an Italian/English cumulative working edition through source pdfpages 001-543, with source pp.537-543 treated as non-authorial provenance/back-matter, a complete authorial index, 33 formula tags in the final slice, no scan-visible mathematical diagrams or tables in pp.505-529, and zero reported build diagnostics; and Gordan_Abel06_p089_106_DE_EN_20260609.zip, extending Clebsch-Gordan, Theorie der Abelschen Functionen, through source pp.089-106 / printed pp.67-84 / §§19-23 boundary, with German/English current and cumulative TeX/PDF, source scans, crop/render checks, and no reported build diagnostics. Gordan Abel06 has one internal stale note in 07_author_cum/README.md that still says the author-cumulative branch is through p071; the main README and actual cumulative files for the Abelsche branch correctly run through p106. Treat these as package-audited working/source-checked tranches according to their internal ledgers, not whole-cluster final editions.

Latest routed addition, 2026-06-09. Added Steinitz_42_bedingtII_p012-024_shortpaths.zip. This package carries German/English TeX/PDF for Steinitz, Bedingt konvergente Reihen II, cumulative through source pages 1-24, with source pages 12-24 newly visually checked page by page. The package audit says OCR/Markdown was not used as canonical text, reader PDFs contain no source-page screenshots, and the continuation point is p025 / continuing section 22; later Steinitz works remain open.
