Pierre Deligne Papers: Modern LaTeX Drafts and English Translation Drafts

Dedicated Deligne record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Mathematics Manuscripts project. This page is separate from the main corpus so Deligne material can be cited, revised, or reorganized independently.

The top-level files are reader-facing and are intentionally English-first where an English translation is present. Individual English paper PDFs, selected French source/working PDFs, and separate correspondence items are exposed for direct download. Broader reference PDFs and TeX/source artifacts are kept in ZIP files rather than cluttering the front-facing reader list.

Status at a glance. The record has three visible lanes. [########--] forward paper stream: source-checked working readers cover papers 001-013 complete, paper 014 through page 30, paper 015 complete, and paper 016 through page 80 in the sequential cumulative reader; paper 016 is not yet complete. [##########] reverse paper stream: source-checked working readers cover papers 090 down through 079 complete and paper 078 pages 1-56 started. [##########] correspondence lane: twelve Deligne letter/correspondence readers are present in English, each paired with a French working/source PDF. These are working scholarly transcriptions and translation drafts, not proofed critical editions.

Latest update, 2026-06-09. The same public update-bundle slot, 95 Pierre Deligne - Update Packets 2026-06-09.zip, has been refreshed with a later curated repair/audit bundle. It now contains D001_D017_witness_pass_complete_seqcum.zip for the forward D001--D017 sequential cumulative/witness repair lane and D074_090dn_actualtriage4.zip for the reverse D074--D090 actual-triage lane. The forward packet includes cumulative FR/EN readers, TeX, source scans, diagram inventories, D001--D017 witness/audit material, and the promoted D017 source-page-16 level-congruence square repair. The reverse packet carries D074--D090 cumulative working material, D075/D076 witness repairs/checks, and a D077--D090 candidate triage layer separating diagram/geometric displays, formula displays, false positives, and out-of-scope items. It should be read as repair/audit/witness material for continuing Deligne, not as a final proofread Deligne edition; diagram-heavy material still requires source-crop comparison before promotion.
