Condensed and simplified map of the spread of farming in western Eurasia.
In lectures, public displays (museums) etc. pls. cite as: Gronenborn/Horejs/Hoffmann/Börner/Ober (LEIZA/ÖAI) 2026.2. For citation in publications use those offered by zenodo (to the right).
This version contains updates for many regions: Central Europe and parts of the western Mediterranean are now based on georeferenced site data. The Netherlands are updated, as are parts of the Near and Middle East.
Two colour and one grey-scale resolution available. PDF includes colour scheme and legend with approximate dates BCE (cal).
