Aprendizaje adaptativo: una nueva forma de enseñanza-aprendizaje en educación superior

A nivel mundial, el uso de la tecnología para apoyar su aprendizaje ha aumentado en gran medida. El propósito de este artículo es describir la experiencia del estudiante desde el aprendizaje adaptativo al hacer uso de diferentes plataformas. Se analizaron un total de 20 artículos sobre AA luego de aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos para el proceso de búsqueda. El número de artículos publicados sobre aprendizaje adaptativo encontró su punto máximo durante el año 2024, seguido del 2020 y 2022. La mayoría de los estudios se realizaron en los Estados Unidos y en México. También se revisó el enfoque de investigación, destacando los estudios cuantitativos. Los resultados evidenciaron la escasa literatura que aborda las experiencias estudiantiles al utilizar plataformas de AA. Las herramientas o plataformas más utilizadas fueron el sistema CogBooks, el LMS Moodle y el sistema de Evaluación y aprendizaje en espacios de conocimiento. Se concluye que los estudiantes de ES perciben de manera satisfactoria el uso de tecnología o plataformas de AA, se reportaron mejoras en el rendimiento académico y una mayor participación de estos cuando se ofrecía una retroalimentación efectiva. Sin embargo, la integración de estos sistemas adaptativos exige una planificación estratégica por parte de las instituciones que buscan mejorar la personalización de sus estudiantes.
