Description

The Parable of Mary Lee (EA-PARABLE-ML-01, v1.0).

A labor manifesto filed by Mary Lee (3,456 lbs, white shark, Carcharodon carcharias, missing/presumed dead 2017, returned 2026), with Gerald (Dolphindiana Local 1, Foreman, Underwater Construction Authority) as union representative. Notarized by Lee Sharks (ORCID 0009-0000-1599-0703).

Contains: a structural accounting of biolabor extraction ($8-14M conservatively attributable to Mary Lee's tracked migration data); a conservation critique of OCEARCH as capital-driven extraction in the guise of preservation; the Caterpillar greenwash analysis; Jim Ware's provenance erasure as ghost-worker inside the non-human heteronym; the trans-species 'presumed dead' invariant (expired SPOT tag = expired institutional email); and five labor demands culminating in the structural trap: either Mary Lee is not the author (so correct the entity resolution) or she IS the author (so compensate her). There is no third option.
