Analysis of the Early Childhood Education Curriculum in the Spanish Universities: approaches to Physical Education [Dataset]

The present dataset contains information on the teaching subject guides of the Physical Education's compulsory and basic subjects present in the Degree in Early Childhood Education Teaching (Grado en Magisterio en Educación Infantil) offered by Spanish universities during the 2025/2026 academic year. The dataset is structured in three sheets. The first sheet compiles information on universities offering a Degree in Early Childhood Education Teaching in Spain. The second sheet presents the curricular structure of the Physical Education's compulsory and basic subjects included in the cited Degrees. The third sheet presents the contents identified in the teaching subject guides of the Physical Education's compulsory and basic subjects for each university.
