Pierre Deligne Papers: Modern LaTeX Drafts and English Translation Drafts

Dedicated Deligne record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Mathematics Manuscripts project. This page is separate from the main corpus so Deligne material can be cited, revised, or reorganized independently.

The top-level files are reader-facing and are intentionally English-first where an English translation is present. Individual English paper PDFs, selected French source/working PDFs, and separate correspondence items are exposed for direct download. Broader reference PDFs and TeX/source artifacts are kept in ZIP files rather than cluttering the front-facing reader list.

Status at a glance. The record has three visible lanes. [########--] forward paper stream: source-checked working readers cover papers 001-013 complete, paper 014 through page 30, paper 015 complete, and paper 016 through page 80 in the sequential cumulative reader; paper 016 is not yet complete. [##########] reverse paper stream: source-checked working readers cover papers 090 down through 079 complete and paper 078 pages 1-56 started. [##########] correspondence lane: twelve Deligne letter/correspondence readers are present in English, each paired with a French working/source PDF. Original/reference and provenance material is preserved in ZIP artifacts and older/raw provenance versions. These are working scholarly transcriptions and translation drafts, not proofed critical editions.

Latest update. Promoted the forward sequential cumulative reader to papers 001-016 through Paper 016 page 80, with a refreshed source-scan/TeX/QA packet. Reverse-stream Paper 078 remains through pages 1-56 in English/French, with the 078-090 TeX/scan/QA source ZIP retained. Older forward cumulative pages 1-40 and 1-70 front-facing PDFs and ZIPs are superseded by the page 80 cumulative files. The current version is kept below Zenodo's 100-file cap by replacing superseded current-version files and moving bulky provenance back to previous DOI/raw-provenance layers rather than adding duplicates.
