Seminaire de Geometrie Algebrique (SGA): English Translation Working Drafts

Public SGA working-translation record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Mathematics Manuscripts project. This record keeps the current reader-facing PDFs, source-scan witnesses, and compact source ZIPs for SGA translation/reconstruction work.

Status at a glance. SGA 5 high-fidelity source-checked stream is complete through printed page 484 and is now paired with its exact source scan. SGA 6 strict source-checked French/English stream is complete through the original source scan, including terminological and notation indexes at source pages 693-702, and is now paired with its exact source scan. SGA 7-I has been reset to a checked public surface through pages 1-24; later compact SGA 7-I readers are not treated here as archive-ready until they are rebuilt range by range from the original scan. The existing SGA 3 English translation has been rebuilt to remove raw code-block typography, but is not yet a full mathematical re-typeset.

Latest update. Correction A reissues SGA 5 and SGA 6 complete English/French readers, adds exact source scans for the complete SGA 5 and SGA 6 checked editions, and replaces the previous overbroad SGA 7-I front-facing cumulative with source-checked pages 1-24 plus the matching source scan. The next anchor is a range-by-range SGA 7-I rebuild after page 24, not SGA 7-II.
