Description
# Mistletoe Detection on Pine Trees - Multispectral Dataset
This dataset contains multispectral imagery of pine trees infested with mistletoe and can be used to train object detection or semantic segmentation models for mistletoe detection.
The images were acquired using a DJI Mavic 3M UAV flying a regular grid pattern (with 75% overlap) with the camera oriented nadir (pointing downward).
The following imaging modalities are available:
- RGB image
- Green (G): 560 ± 16 nm
- Red (R): 650 ± 16 nm
- Red Edge (RE): 730 ± 16 nm
- Near infrared (NIR): 860 ± 26 nm
The flight altitude was approximately 40 m above ground level.
The data were collected in the central part of Greater Poland during two acquisition campaigns conducted near April 2025 and 2026.
In total, seven different forest sites were surveyed, each captured in both years. The combined area covered by all sites is approximately 24 ha.
The full dataset contains XXX images.
## Structure of the dataset
Each top-level directory corresponds to a single forest site and contains two subdirectories (2025 and 2026) representing the acquisition year.
Within each year-specific directory, the original raw imagery and associated data are provided.
Due to Zenodo size limit, only part of the dataset is published. Full dataset available upon request.
