Structural Correspondence Between Yorùbá Cosmological Architecture and the UEIR Quantum Measurement Pipeline: Implications for AI Alignment and the Localisation of Consciousness
Description
This paper establishes a precise structural correspondence between the four-layer UEIR quantum measurement pipeline—Unitary dynamics (U), Decoherence (E), Instrumental measurement (I), and Redundant record formation (R) — and the Yorùbá cosmological framework of Ifá,Oy.a,O.bàtálá, and È.sù. The correspondence is functional and structural: each cosmological principle governs the same role in stable information processing as its UEIR counterpart. The correspondence is not retrospective analogy. The UEIR pipeline was developed through reasoning about the Schrödinger cat paradox using the Yorùbá cosmological framework as a primary intellectual lens, establishing intellectual provenance from the cosmological system to the mathematical architecture. We introduce the Truth Architecture —
Truth = s.◦O.bàtálá ◦O.ya ◦ Ifá — as a formally defined composition of operator on the system Hilbert space. We then report the structural observation that the Hard Problem of consciousness is located at the R-layer (È.sù) within this pipeline, and that the resolution of what occurs at that layer is what produces full legibility at the I-layer (O.bàtálá). The framework conforms to standard quantum mechanics and introduces no modification to the Born rule or to established measurement theory. Implications for AI alignment are discussed: current AI systems operating without the full upstream architecture are structurally incomplete and exhibit predictable instability.
