Description

This dataset contains the species- and family-level abundance and total carbon data used in the analyses presented in the article "Hyperdominance and rarity in Amazonian secondary forests", published in Global Change Biology. The dataset includes information for both small and large individuals, allowing the assessment of taxonomic patterns in abundance and carbon stocks across Amazonian secondary forests. These data were used to investigate the contributions of hyperdominant and rare taxa to forest structure and carbon storage.
