Campylaspides armatus Mühlenhardt-Siegel, 2011

Fig. 46

Holotype.

South Atlantic Ocean • m. ♀; South-eastern Atlantic, Guinea-Basin, DIVA II exped., FS Meteor stat. M 63 / 2-63; 0°08.79'S, 02°28.75'W [- 0,146 50, - 2.47917]; 5047 [5047–5051] m depth; 15 March 2005; Michael Türkay leg.; epibenthic sledge; specimen is a female manca; ZMH -K-042725.

Paratypes.

* • m. ♂; same data as holotype; dissected; ZMH -K-042726. * • ♀; Guinea Basin, DIVA II exped., FS Meteor stat. M 63 / 2-89; 0°42.95'N, 05°31.29'W [0.71583, -5.5215]; 5142 m depth; 20 March 2005; Michael Türkay & Ute Mühlenhardt-Siegel leg.; epibenthic sledge; ZMH -K-067128.

Remarks.

In the original publication, only one collection number was assigned to the ZMH - K paratypes, even though the specimens were collected at two different stations. Here, we assigned a new collection number to one lot (see above); the original number given by Mühlenhardt-Siegel (2011 b) is retained by the first lot listed in the paratype section.

Diagnosis.

Carapace with many teeth in the anterior part. Maxilliped 2 and 3 with strong armature. Uropod, peduncle 1.6 times as long as endopod (male); peduncle also longer than pleonites 5 and 6 combined (after Mühlenhardt-Siegel 2011 b).

Distribution.

Southeast Atlantic, Guinea Basin, 5047–5142 m depth.
