Diagnosis.

Uropods shorter than pleon; peduncle with 11 (female) to 15 (male) setae along inner margin; exopod shorter than peduncle. Telson slightly longer than pleonite 6, with 1 or 2 pairs of short, sub-terminal setae; a short sub-terminal seta inserting dorsally between the two strong terminal setae (after Mühlenhardt-Siegel 2014 a).

Distribution.

Southern Ocean, Weddell Sea, and South Atlantic, Cape, Argentine, and Brazil Basins, 3055–5055 m depth.
