This dataset contains the data used in the analyses of the manuscript 
"Specialisation matters: Landscape structure shapes the distribution of 
Plutella xylostella and its parasitoids", accepted for publication in the 
Journal of Applied Entomology.

DATA DESCRIPTION
=============================================================================
The data include:

1. Host abundance:
   - Inmaduros: total immatures (larvae + pupae) of Plutella xylostella

2. Parasitism counts:
   - Diadegma: number of Diadegma leontiniae emerged
   - Siphona: number of Siphona sp. emerged

3. Landscape metrics (calculated for brassica host patches):
   - CA_Host: total area of brassica patches
   - AREA_MN_Host: mean patch area (MAREA)
   - PROX_MN_Host: mean proximity index (MPROX)
   - AREA_MN_No_Hosp_Grande: mean area of non-host patches (MNHAREA)

4. Temporal variables:
   - Fecha: sampling date
   - Año: sampling year (2021, 2022, 2023)

METHODS
=============================================================================
- Data were collected during spring-summer seasons (September to December) 
  of 2021, 2022, and 2023.
- Landscape metrics were calculated using FRAGSTATS v4.2.
- Variables were scaled (mean = 0, sd = 1) prior to analyses.
- The effect of year (Año) was included as a fixed factor.
- Date (Fecha) was included as a random intercept.

This dataset contains all variables used in the statistical models reported 
in the manuscript. The complete results (coefficients, confidence intervals, 
and model-averaged estimates) are reported in the paper.
