Selecting Digital Archival Software: A Comparitative Study of DSpace, ArchivesSpace, and AtoM

Description
In this study, the software selection process for creating anarchive has been explored with the helpofa software selectionworkflow. The study compares DSpacev.6.3, ArchivesSpace 30.and AtoM v.2.6, based on a selectedlist of criteria applicable to archives.The evaluation identified that DSpace has significant advantages over ArchivesSpace and AtoM in supporting anchives. The study tries to highlight how using a select list of criteria and workflow, for streamlining the process of software selection,can benefitthe institutions engaged in building archives.
