AIM1

To assess safeness, tolerability and clinical efficacy of multisession gamma-tACS over the precuneus in at-home setting.

Aims: a) To demonstrated safety and tolerability of multisession gamma-tACS over the precuneus in at-home setting; b) To evaluate the short term and long-lasting effects of multisession gamma-tACS on cognitive performances and whether repetition of multisession g-tACS may further outlast intervention efficacy; c) To identify predictors of gamma-tACS efficacy in AD patients.

AIM2

To assess entrainment and neurophysiological effects of multisession gamma-tACS over the precuneus in AD.

Aims: a) To evaluate the effects of multisession gamma-tACS on brain entrainment in AD; b) To evaluate the effects of multisession gamma-tACS on cholinergic circuits in AD.

AIM3

To assess biological effects of multisession gamma-tACS over the precuneus in AD.

Aims: a) To assess the effects of multisession gamma-tACS on pathophysiological markers of AD, considering measures of amyloidosis and neurodegeneration; b) To demonstrate that multisession gamma-tACS induces changes in functional brain connectivity within the default mode network (DMN).

The present dataset contains:

·         an excel file containing ID, treatment, sex, age, age at onset, education, NPS evaluation, TMS data, biological markers (Aβ1-42, Aβ1-40, NfL, GFAP, and p-tau217), EEG data and EV data;

·         a folder containing fMRI image
