Authors/Creators

Description

The article presents an academic analysis of the pedagogical basis for developing students' physical qualities through mini-football training in higher education. The study is organized as a theoretical-methodological inquiry and synthesizes principles of physical education, sports-game methodology, and pedagogical control. Its purpose is to justify mini-football as an effective educational means for improving speed, endurance, agility, coordination, speed-strength ability, teamwork, and responsible participation. The Methods section describes the analytical procedure used to classify the physical qualities targeted by mini-football, to identify pedagogical requirements for training organization, and to formulate criteria for monitoring student progress. The Results section proposes an integrated model of mini-football training that includes preparatory, main, and final stages, gradual workload progression, individualization, and formative evaluation. The Discussion emphasizes that the pedagogical value of mini-football lies not only in motor development but also in its contribution to students' motivation, self-regulation, social cooperation, and readiness for a healthy lifestyle. The article concludes that mini-football can be systematically integrated into university physical education as a scientifically grounded and practically accessible training tool.
