COMBINING CLEAR TEACHER SPEECH AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TOOLS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING: CLASSROOM OBSERVATIONS FROM UZBEKISTAN

The effectiveness of English language instruction is influenced not only by curriculum design and learning materials but also by the quality of classroom communication and the integration of modern educational technologies. In contemporary language classrooms, teachers increasingly encounter learners with diverse proficiency levels, learning preferences, and motivational characteristics. This study examines the combined role of clear teacher speech and artificial intelligence-supported learning tools in facilitating English language acquisition among learners from beginner to intermediate levels. The analysis is based on long-term classroom observations collected during four years of teaching practice involving more than four hundred students in Uzbekistan. The findings indicate that understandable instructional delivery creates favorable conditions for language comprehension, while AI-assisted resources expand opportunities for autonomous learning and individualized practice. The study further argues that the strategic combination of human pedagogical guidance and intelligent digital support contributes to stronger learner engagement, increased confidence, and improved classroom participation. The paper highlights the importance of maintaining a balanced relationship between technological innovation and teacher-centered interaction in modern English language education.
